Middle schoolers may apply, and acceptance will be based on the strength of the application and available spots.

No. Participants will develop ideas during the workshops, guided by national champions, industry mentors, and structured activities.

Not at all. Innovation is needed across all fields — engineering, medicine, arts, humanities, education, and community development. The program is designed so any student, from any major, can benefit and contribute.

At the end of the track, students present their startup ideas in front of judges.

Registration is a two-step process:

Step 1 — Register for MASCON 2025

• You must purchase a General Admission ticket for MASCON 2025.

• Without a MASCON ticket, you cannot access the Youth Track.

• After you complete Step 1, you must fill out the Youth Track application form, and await a confirmation email from BEAM Venture.

• The track itself is free, but only for attendees who have purchased the MASCON Main Event ticket.

No. BEAM Venture is providing this entire track for accepted participants who complete the application and receive confirmation.

However, students must purchase a MASCON 2025 Main Event ticket to enter the conference and attend the track. The track itself has no additional fee.

All transportation, travel, and lodging arrangements are the responsibility of the student and their family.

MASCON 2025 is a national conference, and families should plan their own:

• Travel to Chicago (flight or driving)

• Hotel accommodations

• Daily transportation to and from the MASCON venue.

Yes. The curriculum is sequential and hands-on. Attending both days ensures students:

• Complete their startup

• Receive mentorship

• Participate in the showcase

• A laptop or tablet (recommended)

• A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate

All workshop materials will be provided.

Parents can attend the opening and closing ceremonies, and are welcome in the general MASCON program. Workshops are exclusive to registered youth participants in order to maintain focus and pace.

Yes. All participants who complete both days receive an official BEAM Venture x MASCON Youth Innovation Track Certificate.

A two-days conference designed to inspire and equip young entrepreneurs through hands-on AI workshops, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities.

Open to high school and college students who demonstrate an interest in entrepreneurship, technology, and leadership. Applicants should complete the online form and answer the short essay questions.

No. Thanks to the generous support of BEAM Venture and Invest in Syria, participation in all sessions, materials, and meals is completely free.

All sessions are in English. We recommend intermediate to advanced proficiency for full participation.

Once we’ve reviewed your application, you will receive an email indicating acceptance or wait-list status. Please allow up to two weeks for our team to complete the review process.

5th graders are welcome to join, but please be aware that the material and content will be more advanced. If your child is mature and ready for a challenge, this could be a great opportunity for them. The content will be tailored primarily for 6th graders and up.

InshaAllah, while students are engaged in their workshops, we will host an open platform for parallel sessions led by community professionals. This is a unique opportunity for parents, professionals, and community members to attend, benefit, and connect.
